What college did you attend?

Gordon College where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy. I am currently pursuing my master’s in Education Policy from George Washington University.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

Fly a plane. Hopefully, it will help me get over my fear of heights.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Listening to music, audiobooks, and podcasts.

If you could meet anyone, who would it be?

Will Smith. I would learn and laugh a lot from just talking to him for an hour.

What three traits define you?

Friendly, optimistic, and funny.

What’s the most rewarding aspect about working with CPE’s students and mentors?

Reading the responses to “Tell us about your goals for an internship. What do you want to get out of the experience?” Our students share what goals they want to reach and the internship grant helps get them there.

What is your favorite part about working for CPE?

My favorite part is talking to students about their plans to give back to the community. Students recognize how helpful their mentor and CPE have been in their lives. They want to do what they can to pay it forward and help those around them.
